Dr. Grant worked at Baxter Dental Surgery from 1980-2019, also volunteered in Vietnam, East Timor, and for 10 years in Cambodia.
Dr. Mihika Bhatt
Principal Dentist (graduated 2004)
About Dr. Bhatt
Mihika started her journey in dentistry, practising at various Southern Health Community Health Centres (now known as Monash Health Centres) around Victoria. In January 2008, Mihika joined Dr. David Grant and team at Baxter Dental Surgery as an Associate Dentist before becoming Principal Dentist in October 2016.
Mihika is a firm believer in preventative and conservative dentistry with special interest in Orthodontics and children’s Orthodontics. Mihika is very passionate about all aspects of dentistry and continues to invest her time in learning various advancements in the world of dentistry through Continuing Professional Development seminars and various other courses.
Outside work she is raising two young girls with her husband. And as a family they enjoy outdoors and travelling.
Dr. Dhruvin Patel

About Dr. Patel
Dr Dhruvin Patel’s interest in dentistry developed early in his life. As a teenager he used to visit his father’s dental surgery and saw him bring smiles to his patient’s faces through the care and service he provided.
As years passed, Dr Patel’s love for dentistry grew and he graduated in 2008 followed by a Grad. Certificate in Clinical Dentistry from the University of Melbourne, Royal Dental Hospital in 2010. Later that year, Dr Patel was awarded the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Award for outstanding academic achievement.
In February 2011, Dr Patel joined the team at Baxter Dental Surgery as an Associate Dentist before becoming Principal Dentist in October 2016. While working he achieved a fellowship for Orthodontics at the International College of Continuing Dental Education and obtained his Invisalign Certification. He has trained in Dental Implants at the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry in Sydney as well as the United States.
Dr Patel is a very passionate and caring dentist who comes highly recommended for his gentle hands and diverse dental expertise which includes Smile Makeovers, Orthodontics (Braces and Invisalign), Dental Implants and Kids Dentistry.
Dr Patel strongly believes it’s not only important but prudent to keep abreast with the latest in dentistry because his patients deserve the best! He invests more than 100 hours of continuing education a year, about five times the national average.
Outside of work, Dhruvin and his Wife are avid travellers and adventure enthusiasts. He loves playing Cricket and Badminton and is an active member of the Baxter Cricket Club and Mornington Peninsula Badminton Association.

Mihar enjoys treating people of all ages and endeavours to make each experience as stress free and enjoyable as possible. Interests outside of work include a fascination with cars, love for coffee and physical activity.
Dr. Aneela Naseem

About Dr. Naseem
Originally from Canada, Dr. Aneela graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She takes pride in providing a positive, relaxed environment and tailoring treatment to each individual. She is a strong promoter of dental disease prevention and education.
Dr. Aneela enjoys all aspects of dentistry to help people achieve and maintain oral health.
She believes in regularly undertaking continuing education courses to ensure her patients receive the highest quality care. She is known for her caring and gentle manner.
Outside of work, Dr. Aneela enjoys exploring Victoria and supporting the Calgary Flames NHL hockey team.
